Tinsley Mortimer

Tinsley Mercer Mortimer grew up in Richmond, Virginia and is a graduate of the Lawrenceville School and Columbia University, where she played Division 1 tennis. A staple on the New York charity and party circuit, Tinsley is one of the most photographed socialites in Manhattan--The New York Times called her “one of the most famous faces of the New York scene”. Known for her self proclaimed “girly girl” style, Tinsley has been featured on the pages of W, Vogue, Italian Vogue, WWD, & Harper’s Bazaar. Tinsley has been designing her handbag line, for the Japanese company Samantha Thavasa for (9) years and her ready-to-wear collection, Riccimie by Tinsley Mortimer for (8) years, both primarily sold in Asia. Christian Dior appointed Tinsley a beauty ambassador in 2007 and she launched the “Tinsley Pink” lip gloss in 2008. Tinsley’s debut novel, Southern Charm, was released by Simon & Schuster on May 1st, 2012 The novel went on to be released in paperback in April 2013. Tinsley currently designs a table top collection under her namesake Tinsley Mortimer which will be released in major retailers this spring and currently available for purchase online. Mortimer’s line features a vibrant color palette with classic patterns that have a new twist. Punchy pops of bright pink, tangerine orange, aqua blue and lime green are coupled with white and gold dinnerware that features signature koi fish, palm tree and bubble imprints. The look is eye-catching and ripe with personality. The line also features a fun assortment of colorful lucite bar accessories, offering a selection that is both formal and completely casual.
